Hi my name is Chris and I have been making bears longer than I care to remember. It started when a friend showed me how to make a bear followed on by a local bear fair and that, as they say, was that - I was hooked!
I have at different times made all sizes and worked with all different fabrics. I now mainly make bears around 6 inches. I don’t care to take commissions I just like making a bear then putting it up for adoption. Each one of my bears is made by hand I do not even own a sewing machine. All Leafy Lane Bears are collectables and not suitable for children.
